Schneider blasts Trailblazers into 2nd round

The girls softball team defeated Ramona 6-5 on the road to secure Sierra Canyon’s first-ever Division 4 playoff victory. Despite being Co-champions in the Gold Coast League with the Paraclete Spirits, Sierra Canyon lost the coin flip and were seeded 2nd coming out of the Gold Coast. By virtue of the coin flip, the Trailblazers were forced to travel.

The travel did not seem to bother the Trailblazers, especially sophomore shortstop Sarah Schneider. Schneider went 3 for 3 with two home runs, 3 RBIS and 4 runs scored.

The Trailblazers will now host Santa Fe at home this Tuesday at 3:15.
