In just eighteen years, Sierra Canyon School has established itself as one of the premiere high school athletic programs in California and the United States. Sierra Canyon has won one national championship (girls basketball – 2023), twelve State Championships and twenty CIF-SS Championships along with thirteen additional CIF-SS Final appearances. The Trailblazers currently compete in the Mission League and have won a total of 63 League titles (Delphic, Gold Coast, Mission.) Sierra Canyon has excelled in both boys and girls sports. The Sierra Canyon football team has won six Southern Section Championships (2011, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022) along with two State Championships (2011 and 2016.) The boys basketball team has won two consecutive Open Division State Championships (2018 and 2019) along with three consecutive Regional Championships (2018, 2019, 2020) and three Southern Section Championships (2011, 2019 and 2020.) In addition, the Trailblazer basketball team has sent nine players to the National Basketball Association (NBA). The girls basketball team won back to back to back State Championships (2013, 2014, 2015) and in 2019 and 2022 won the prestigious Open Division State Championship and won five consecutive league championships. The Trailblazers have also won the 2009, 2013 and 2022 CIF Southern Section Championship. The Trailblazers have sent one player to the Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA). The girls soccer team has won three Southern Section Championships (2011, 2015, and 2017) and two State Regional Championships (2015 and 2017). The girls volleyball team won back to back Southern Section Championships (2016, 2017) and the Division 1 Championship in 2022. In 2017, they won the State Championship. The boys soccer team won the CIF Southern Section championship in 2021. In 2023, the boys swim team won their first CIF Southern Section Championship.
