Pertofsky Leads Trailblazers to Victory and Spot in Semi-Finals
Sophomore outside hitter May Pertofsky went on an absolute tear to start the second set of the CIF-SS quarterfinals Saturday night at Arcadia High School. After dropping the first set 25-23, Pertofsky put her teammates on her back and carried them in the second set. Pertofsky was part of the Trailblazers first nine points as the Trailblazers went on to defeat the Apaches 23-25, 25-12, 25-16 and 25-22. The Trailblazers make their second consecutive appearance in the semi-finals and will host the Claremont Wolfpack on Tuesday night at Sierra Canyon.
