Sierra Canyon headed to Division 3 playoffs

The Sierra Canyon softball team ended the regular season with an easy 13-2 Mission League victory against Louisville.
The Trailblazers now look to the Div. 3 playoffs next week after finishing all alone in second place.
Duke-bound Hailey Shuler faced 20 batters and had six strikeouts for Sierra Canyon (9-5, 6-2).
Shuler was 2-3 at the plate with two RBI’s.
Sierra Canyon only played 14 regular season games due to several rain outs.
Natalia Areliz had two doubles and three RBI’s.
Riley Furnace had three RBI’s.
Lianna Lara was 3-3 only missing the cycle without a triple.
Nina Peyton-Johnson was 2-3 and Peyton Jackson had a home run and two RBI’s.
The playoff brackets come out Saturday.
