The Sierra Canyon football program had a successful year on the field.

The Trailblazers went 11-1, won the Mission League with zero losses and advanced to the Div. 1 semifinals for the first time in school history.

So. it’s no surprise coach Jon Ellinghouse is sending six high-level players to the Div. 1 ranks.

Receivers Xavier Jordan and Kwazi Gilmer are headed to USC and UCLA, respectively.

Marquis Gallegos is a safety headed to USC, Jaylen’dai Sumlin is going to Stanford, B.J. Brooks is a lineman headed to Oklahoma and Cameron Mitchell-Jones will be a preferred walk-on at Utah.

Sierra Canyon has sent many. many players to Div. 1 schools all across the country in the past 10 years.
