The Sierra Canyon girls tennis team suffered two setbacks this past week in nonleague matches.

The Trailblazers lost 11-7 on back-to-back days against Buckley and The Archer School for Girls.

Sienna Martin and Ally Thau, and Emma Nassiri and Hannah Almany each took two sets in doubles play but the Trailblazers only took one more set against Buckley.

Betty Chen, Danica Quinn and Adrianna Mazzaheri each took a singles set by a score of 6-0 but Sierra Canyon could not come up with more in the close loss at Balboa Park.

Lyric Wilson and Chen each swept their three singles sets against Archer.

However, the Trailblazers only took one doubles set out of nine at the Cal St. Northridge courts (corner of Lindley and Plummer).

Sierra Canyon is back in action next week against Immaculate Heart and Marymount in Sunshine League play.
