Lower School football getting ready for the season

It looks to be a very exciting year for our lower school flag football teams. Sierra Canyon will field teams in fourth, fifth and sixth grade. We are excited about the turnout of players, the chance to learn new skills and the opportunity to make new friends and have fun.

“It is so great to see so many kids coming out for flag football,” said David Sobel, Lower School Sports Director.  “We have three levels of some pretty good football teams and I am excited to see how they progress throughout the season.”

We have some excellent coaches in the fold. Joe Ojomoh will lead the fourth grade, veteran Rocco Barille takes the fifth graders and Charles Porter is the head man for our sixth grade team.

The schedules are being formulated shortly and the opponents could include Curtis, Viewpoint, Buckley, Valley School, Wesley School, John Thomas Dye, Phoenix Ranch and many others.
