Middle School Swim Program Is Strong

The middle school swim program is in full swing here at Sierra Canyon. The swim team will be coached by Helenka Lozano this year. Lozano comes to us from Granada Hills Charter High School. Lozano has extensive experience in the development of youth swimmers.

The roster is one of the largest in school history. The student-athletes train at San Fernando Regional pool in the city of San Fernando. There are currently five swim meets on the schedule.

Sept. 20 at Immaculate Heart, Sept. 24 at Buckley, Oct. 3 at Harvard-Westlake, Oct. 7 at Marlborough and Oct. 29 at Oaks Christian. Be sure to check out the athletics website under middle school teams for more information.
