Sierra Canyon wins three games at Harvard-Westlake tournament

The Sierra Canyon girls basketball team started the season off right with three consecutive wins and won the championship of the Harvard-Westlake tournament.

The Trailblazers (3-0) knocked off Santiago of Corona 72-52 in the final.

Mackenly Randolph had 25 points, eight rebounds and three blocks to lead the championship win.

Louisville-bound Izela Arenas had 16 points and eight rebounds. Jerzy Robinson had 16 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

In earlier victories, Arenas had 27 points and five rebounds in a 75-56 semifinal win against Brentwood.

Randolph had 15 points and six rebounds. Robinson had 18 points and four rebounds.

In the season opener against Mark Keppel, Arenas had 28 points, four rebounds and four steals. Randolph had 24 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and four blocks.

Robinson poured in 15 points, five rebounds and three assists.

The girls head to Texas over the Thanksgiving holiday for a game.
