The Sierra Canyon girls volleyball team finished the regular season this week with two more victories and won the Mission League title with no losses.

The Trailblazers took care of Notre Dame Academy 11, 21 and 12. Two days later it was Marlborough in a 9, 12, 9 sweep.

Sierra Canyon improved to 33-5 overall, 10-0 in league play.

The Trailblazers won their 18th consecutive best-of-5 match and has not lost in California this year.

Sierra Canyon is 89-1 in its last 90 league matches played.

After winning the Division 1 championship last year, Sierra Canyon now sets its sights on another title. The Trailblazers start the playoffs next week on Wednesday at home and will play October 24th at home before a likely road match at Mater Dei October 28th.

Wednesday’s sweep against Marlborough was Senior night. The seven seniors were honored and recognized. All the moms did a great job helping put on a great event and an extra tip of the hat goes to Jen Alcantara for heading up the operation. She is Lauren Lynch’s mom.

The seven seniors honored were Danica Rach, Sade Ilawole, Maddie Way, Rachael Reyes, Lola Brown, Taylor Treahy and Halie McGinest.
